Alumni Awards Dinner:

The Hamden High School Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner provides an opportunity for the Hamden Education Foundation to recognize Distinguished Alumni from Hamden High School. The Distinguished Alumni Dinner is held in the spring. Please contact HEF to submit nominations for this award and view previous recipients here.

Athletic Hall of Fame Induction: 

The Hamden High School Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner provides an opportunity for the Hamden Education Foundation to recognize distinguished alumni athletes from Hamden High School by inducting them into the Athletic Hall of Fame. The annual awards dinner is held in the fall. Please contact HEF to submit nominations for this award.

Innovation Grant Recipient Reception: 

The Innovation Grants Reception honors the Hamden teachers who were awarded Innovation Grants, and provides an opportunity for current and previous grant recipients to learn about each other’s work.

The Voice of Hamden: 

The Voice of Hamden hosted at Hamden High school is a vocal competition celebrating great singing in Hamden.  Get ready for The Voice of Hamden coming in January 2023!

Community Readers Day:

Each spring, members from the Hamden professional community share their time with Hamden Public School children by reading aloud during Community Readers Day. Students in 1st and 2nd grades are visited by these honored guests, as they share their love of books with the class. HEF funds the event by purchasing books for the elementary classrooms and libraries town-wide.
